Ann In The Moon - Alan Aldridge Artwork 1970

More Alan Aldridge, this time on a technicolor psychedelic trip. Typical psychedelic art is not to my taste. I much prefer the earlier sharp modernism of graphic art/illustrations and blame Hippies for everything that went wrong in music and clothes. They did not deserve Miles Davis at their concerts, although he no doubt enhanced their acid experience greatly - that or took them into psychotic nightmares (I like to think). However, I'm sure you'll agree that this work is great, and the book includes one of the best chapter titles ever: 'Ann Meets the Prime Moonister' - !
