Pierre Henry's House Of Sounds - Geir Egil Bergjord (Gilka)

Through the keyhole...
Who'd live in a house like this?
A sumptuous tome which takes us on a tour through Pierre's 4-storey house/studio as captured by the lens of  Geir Egil Bergjord. Many rooms have become works of art in themselves - surely this must become a museum when Pierre Henry passes away.
Photos like sounds caught on tape; fragments of sonic history fused with intimate peeps into the personal life of the man which create a portrait that's both real and fantastical. The tangible made almost mystic, much like Henry's music.  His general absence from most portraits creates an atmosphere in which he is ever present in his art and artefacts.
As a big bonus it comes with a CD of previously unreleased material.
The book may be hard to get now, but there's a full PDF here.
