In case you're not following me on Mixcloud...which seems unimaginable, but may be true, here's a mix featuring some of my favourite readings by William Burroughs, to which I've added music from various well-known pop artists such as John Zorn, Arne Nordheim and Tod Dockstader. The albums which put Bill's words to music during his later years, when he'd become well and truly trendy again, are OK, but none truly create the kinds of sonic moods I think he deserves.
